Arashi stars in their own manga!

ARASHI meets MANGA
Arashi appeared in the February 3rd issue of Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun, presenting an interesting new “image” of themselves.
A special Arashi comic,  titled “ARASHI meets MANGA,” took up eight pages of the paper on this particular issue. Each member of the group was drawn by a different artist. Fortunately for them, they were portrayed in a much more flattering fashion than another celebrity who was recently drawn into a manga.
“Kaibutsu-kun” author Fujio Fujiko drew  Ohno Satoshi

“Bartender” author Nagatomo Kenji drew Aiba Masaki

“Hana Yori Dango” (AKA “Boys Over Flowers”) artist Kamio Yoko drew Matsumoto Jun

“Honey and Clover” author Umino Chika drew Sakurai Shou

“Tekkonkinkreet“ author Matsumoto Taiyou drew Ninomiya Kazunari
The members of Arashi also wrote down their thoughts about their own manga, making it an article that no fan could miss while reading the paper that day.
