Yamashita Tomohisa has announced that he will be releasing a new single, “Hadankanbo,” on January 19th and will quickly follow it up with his first solo album, “SUPERGOOD, SUPERBAD,” on January 26th.
“Hadankanbo” will come out just a week before the album release and is described as a funky dance number. The long awaited album will be released in the standard CD regular and first print limited edition formats. It will include the Shuuji to Akira NEWS sub-unit single, “Seishun Amigo,” plus his hit solo singles “Daite Senorita,” “Loveless,” and “One in a million.” He will also be working on some tracks himself for the first time.
There will be quite a few differences between the two editions. The regular CD will in fact feature five additional songs on it, including “Ao,” “Touch You,” “Friday Night,” “TOMO,” and “MOLA (R-midwest REMIX).” The limited edition DVD will come with a DVD that includes the PV and making-of for “One in a million,” special interviews and messages, and recording footage from “Hadakanbo.” The limited edition will come with a twelve page photo book and twenty page lyric book, while the regular edition will come with a twenty-eight page booklet.
