June/July Foodtrip! - HomeMade Dishes

Eating healthy and delicious food with family and friends in the comfort of our home. Who needs to go out when you have this delectable dishes served on your own dining table. ^_^

Movie Night!

Movie nights are the best. A great way to just chill, relax and be lazy in the couch after a long day at work or just because its Friday Night!!! Rather than going to the bars/clubs, I prefer to be inside the house and be on my jammies with a drink and snack on hand with or without company.

Random Rabbits

Hanging out in my friends house up north for a cosplay meet and anime marathon. Enjoying good company with friends while munching on our shared snacks taking a short break from stitching when we decided to look outside and just take in the view of "greenery" surroundings before the cold winter comes in and cover everything in its whiteness. Then there we saw just by the lawn a what looks like a vibrating brown furry ball slightly smaller than a grapefruit (a heck of a way to describe it but yeah), then its head came up with its long ears pointing up, nose sniffing the air and eyes looking from left to right searching for something. If you haven't guessed by now or missed the title of this post then yes it was a Rabbit..

Rabbits are commonly known to eat carrots. Remember Bugs Bunny? What's up doc? But here in Minnesota, wild rabbits are kinda considered as an annoyance to a home owner as it eats your beautiful flowers that you worked so hard for to bloom on the midst of Spring.

The picture above was taken by my friends place who told us that there are lots of rabbits roaming around his lawn.

Anime Detour 2014: Cosplays, Panels and more (April 2014)

After my first anime convention - Anime Fusion last year (click here to check my previous post about it), I made it to the point to go to another one because it was so much fun - So many panels to attend, so much stuff to buy in the Dealers's room, so many cosplayers, sleepless nights, and karaoke!

Together with my friends, I attended the Anime Detour 2014 held at Double Tree by Hilton hotel. It was also my birthday week so going to the convention and splurging money (not really :p) on the Dealer's room was my birthday gift to myself.

Rain or snow, there's no stopping us lol! Here is the view outside our hotel room before everything was covered by snow. It was snowing nonstop until the next day and all you can see was white and people getting stuck in ditches ,shoveling their way out and pushing their cars.

What I eat when stress at work...Chocolates!!!!! hahahahaha

More often than not I've been going down to the cafeteria at work for lunch ever since they switch the chef . The new chef has been cooking dishes that is not posted on the cafeteria's website.  I was told by one of my co-workers that the new chef cooks a special dish everyday whatever he likes cooking for that day. So far all his special dishes are really delicious and is something to look forward to every lunch time. ^_^

Draw Something 2: Simba!!!

So this is what happened, I failed myself miserably in the game "Draw Something 2" trying to draw Simba, I gave up trying to draw it on my Android phone and just drew it instead on a Post It. Took a picture of it then text it to my boyfriend. Then on the game I just wrote, "I gave up just look at what I texted you."  V(^_^)V

Las Vegas Trip ~ Bellagio Hotel, Conservatory and Botanical Garden Feb 2014

For our first breakfast meal in Vegas, me and my roommate were brought to Bellagio Hotel by our gracious hosts for a surprise fancy meal. The hotel in its grandeur is decorated with theme for the Year of the Horse with the extravagant display of their Botanical Garden.

The way to the cafe was simply beautiful. After passing the huge silver horse statue, we followed the trails of colorful flower decors on the ceiling leading us towards the Botanical Garden.

The Cafe Bellagio is located at the other side of the Botanical Garden. The entrance of the cafe was filled with hotel guests and visitors waiting to be seated. The inside was grand and spectacular with courteous and well-mannered servers.

Finally, after "x" days I get to finish these books.

Beautiful Darkness - a bit gloomier book compare to its predecessor. It entails suppress feelings of guilt for Lena and confusion for Ethan. Got bored half way because it was getting really "dark" and sappy. Once I pass that part of the story, I found myself enjoying it again as I flip to each page and get curious with more revelations that is posing more questions than answers for the mystified world of Casters and Humans.

Birthday post!!!

A wonderful pleasant surprise from my roommate, cousin and my cousin's family. ^_^ Thanks guys!! Love the beautiful flowers and delicious monster birthday ice cream cake!!!!

Las Vegas Trip ~ The Strip at Night Feb 2014

Visited Las Vegas last month with my roommate and walk around the Strip a LOT. Making up for all the times that we were locked up inside our rooms because of the negative temps here in MN. It was nice to take a break from the long winter and just wander around the Strip until our legs hurt and we cannot walk anymore.
