After teasing us with the ShinxHwa tandem in the hit Kdrama "You're Beautiful", Park Shin Hye and Jung Yong Hwa is finally together again in this heartfelt Kdrama "Heartstrings" a.k.a "You've Fallen for Me".

Lee Shin is a university student majoring in modern music. He is also the vocalist and guitarist of the band "The Stupid." Shin is known for his good looks and strong passion for music, but in reality he is cold, lacks interest in anything unrelated to music and has neither dreams nor plans for the future. He initially likes Jung Yoon Soo, a dance professor at university, but this all changes when he meets Lee Gyu Won.

Lee Gyu Won is a bright and outgoing student who was born into a prestigious family and is majoring in traditional Korean instruments, especially the gayageum. Gyu Won's grandfather, Lee Dong Gun, is one of the top 3 traditional musicians of his age and his biggest wish is to see his granddaughter become a traditional music prodigy. Trying to live up to her grandfather's expectations, Gyu Won immerses herself in training and becomes a university student who knows nothing outside of her studies. As her friends are fans of "The Stupid", she was forced to go to the band's concert with them. There she saw Lee Shin performing live, and is immediately captivated by him.

After watching the first episode, I instantly fell in love with it and can't stop myself to watch the next episodes even though I need to get some sleep for work the next day. =))

THE ARTISTS

Park Shin Hye as Lee Gyu Won

I first got to know Park Shin Hye as Go Mi Nam (You're Beautiful) and ever since then I've started to like her. What's not to like about this charming young lady? She's a good actress, talented singer, and versatile model. I love her the most specially when she sings. Her voice is so clear and soothing that it captures its listeners to feel the song that she's singing.

Jung Yong Hwa as Lee Shin

Unlike his sweet prince-like character Kang Shin Woo (You're Beautiful), Jung Yong Hwa portrays a different persona in this drama as a cold-hearted jerk to those whom he doesn't know specially to girls who confess to him and tries to get his attention but in front of his family and friends he's a caring brother and a good friend. Jung Yong Hwa pulls off this character quite well. I love all the songs that he sang in this drama. It makes me feel too much passion towards the song that sometimes I end up reminiscing the past.

Kang Min Hyuk as Yeo Joon Hee

Another talented cute member and drummer of CN Blue, Kang Min Hyuk plays the role of a cute, clumsy and glutton person named Yeo Joon Hee. Even with the weird hairdo, nerdy glasses, and ragged clothing, how can you say no to his cute irresitable puppy eyes smile whenever he starts pleading for you to feed him?

And when its time to perform on stage, Yeo Joon Hee transforms into a handsome cool drummer of The Stupid. At first, I didn't even notice the similarities though one things for sure I did love both alter persona of Yeo Joon Hee.

THE STRAP

Couple Cellphone Strap

If "You're Beautiful" has the famous Pig-Rabbit, Lee Shin (Jung Yong Hwa) and Gyu Won (Park Shin Hye) have their own cute couple cellphone strap. Though I doubt that it will surpass the famous Pig-Rabbit in terms of popularity, I still think that its so cute that I might end up buying one for myself if ever I see this in a store.

The song "I will forget you" was originally sang by CN Blue. It also have an english version titled "Teardrops in the Rain" sang by CN Blue member (and former leader) Lee Jong Hyun.

Kang Min Hyuk's "Star" 

Since Kang Min Hyuk has always been in the background as a drummer for CN Blue, he hasn't really did any singing performance with the group except to play the drums though I'm only assuming on this since most of the attention on singing were always focused on Jung Yong Hwa or Lee Jong Hyun. The first time I've heard the song I was already curious on who was the singer with such cool voice. I've never expected it to be Kang Min Hyuk. With all the great opportunities given to him in this kdrama, this could be the start of his rise in stardom just like what happened to Jung Yong Hwa in the drama You're Beautiful.

There are a lot of featured bloopers for this kdrama but among all of them this is the one that i like the best!

Jung Yong Hwa gets shy in kissing Park Shin Hye
