Myself and I (Being ME): Love Rain: (My) Drama Review

Synopsis

"Love Rain" depicts a 1970's pure love and a love from the present day at the same time. It shows how the children of a previous ill-fated couple, who met in the 1970s, managed to meet and fall in love. Seo In Ha and Kim Yoon Hee, an art student and a shy beauty, met and fell in love with each other during college in the 1970s but unfortunately their love was fated to never be.

Now in the present 21st century Korea, Seo In Ha's son, Seo Joon (a liberal photographer) meets and falls in with the daughter of Kim Yoon Hee, Jung Ha Na, a cheerful and energetic girl who's personality is different from her mother's.

Will their love for each other keep them together or will they have to face the same fate as their parents?

For me, the first 3 episodes were the highlights ~~(and the best)~~ of the drama. I found myself asking for more of the past and not anticipating the present. The past was portrayed with heartfelt and concise scenes that made it more appealing to watch. Like the past, the present also had heartfelt scenes but the dilemma of both protagonists were prolonged too much that made it boring to watch.

So maybe I was too observing for this one lol!! Can you guess what I thought of while watching these scene?? Scroll down to the next picture below it..

Just made me think of how sneaky Seo Joon was and mind you what a picture perfect sleeping pose for both pictures. No bed hair! :)

More often than not, I find the last episode of ~~(most)~~ Jdoramas and Kdramas unbearable to watch specially if the endings are unsatisfactory. Either they end it too soon or they leave the viewers with unclear endings that makes you think of the "what ifs" or possibility for a sequel.

However with this drama, I love how they ended it with Ha Na in a beautiful wedding dress and Joon in a stylish tux and both of them running late for the wedding just because Ha Na forget to water the plants... ^_^
