My 1st movie review for the year 2012!! Paradise Kiss (also known as ParaKiss) starring Keiko Kitagawa and Osamu Mukai.

George and Yukari
This movie was based on a manga (with the same title) written by Ai Yazawa. The manga itself consist of 5 Volumes, 48 Chapters, 920 Pages. Before producing it into a movie, Paradise Kiss has been liked (and loved) more when it was adapted into an anime series.

Paradise Kiss (Left to Right: Manga, Anime, and Movie)
The main theme of Paradise Kiss is FASHION. Though a lot of comparisons (movie vs. anime/manga) were made by ParaKiss fans, I still think the movie was great. Its not that I'm contradicting their opinions but I haven't watch/read the anime/manga so I'm contented so far on what I have seen on the movie. On the other hand, if I did watch/read the anime/manga then I'll probably demand for more in the movie ^_^.

The designs, accessories, and clothes simply amaze me. I know that I'm not a fashion expert but for my eyes they are all amazing.. so much details and effort put into it...

The only thing I want to point out is Keiko's acting skills. There are some parts in the movie that I feel she's lacking emotion into it. I know she's putting in her best effort throughout the making of this film but I still think she hasn't reach the level of a veteran actress. Don't get me wrong, I like and love Keiko and yes I'm a fan of hers but I would like to express my own opinion about her acting skills... I know she can get better in time as she gains more experience in acting. I admire her modelling skills a lot and polishing her acting skills is just another step to refine her image as a better actress.
